The Community Futures Network of Alberta is a non-profit organization that supports Alberta’s 27 Community Futures member offices. They are engaged in advocacy and leadership, providing tools and resources, and collaboration and communication.
Community Futures loan products are designed to support small business growth, and range from $10,000 to $150,000. Whether you’re looking for startup cash, responding to increased demand, ready to expand into new markets, or needing to update your technology or processes, Community Futures has the financing knowledge and resources to help. Each loan is tailored to meet your particular business needs, and loan decisions are made locally and quickly.
Community Futures offices also provide small business coaching / training options, featured business programs, and business tools.

The rural business centres provide services to entrepreneurs, small business owners, and managers at all stages of the business life cycle from the start-up to expansion to succession planning.
Each rural business centre is staffed by a small business advisor who assists in providing one-on-one business advice, seminars, workshops, and access to relevant information about small businesses and business opportunities. Information and materials will be tailored to the specific needs of the communities served by each RABC.
While most services are free, a small fee may apply to some educational offerings.
Rural Alberta Business Centres exist in the following communities:
