Export Support Fund

Export Support Fund

The Export Support Fund is a program designed to ease the cost of exporting. It will support Alberta small and medium-sized enterprises looking to enter new international markets – or a country that currently represents 10% or less of the company’s sales from the previous year. Eligible companies will be reimbursed between $2,000 and $20,000 per year for a select range of approved export activities. Alberta companies will also benefit from reduced costs to exhibit at tradeshows and events on select Government of Alberta-led international initiatives.

Regional Economic Development Alliances

The REDAs were created to enable regions to compete more effectively in a global marketplace and improve investment attraction, resulting in greater prosperity locally, regionally, and provincially. 

Advanced Education fosters and supports development of REDAs in Alberta through its Entrepreneurship and Regional Development Branch Offices. These efforts are coordinated through the Entrepreneurship and Regional Development Branch head office, located in Edmonton.
