Kris Ruiter, Chief of Stakeholder Engagement , Office of Small and Medium Enterprise, Western Region

Kris is the A/Chief of Stakeholder Engagement, Office of Small & Medium Enterprises (OSME) of Public Services and Procurement Canada in Western Region.

Kris brings a variety of both public and private sector experience to the role with OSME. Located in Calgary, Alberta, Kris is responsible for the Prairies, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Kris graduated from Bishop’s University with a business degree. In his career he has been a golf pro, retail manager and been a branch manager of a bank. For the last 10 years he has held multiple positions within procurement at Public Services and Procurement Canada. The variety of experience allows Kris to speak with businesses on multiple levels and help them navigate the federal procurement landscape.

Jenny Yu, Project Lead & Procurement Specialist, Office of Small and Medium Enterprises, Western Region

Jenny joined Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in 2009 and is a dynamic and passionate public servant with extensive experience in government procurement and outreach. With her background in communications and event management, she is also a seasoned public speaker, and a strategist in corporate, non-profit, and government relations.

Jenny thrives on the curating and sharing of ideas and looks forward to applying her attributes and experience in supporting businesses, innovation priorities, and the Office of Small Medium Enterprises (OSME) projects.
