Women in Business: Finding Passion in Entrepreneurship

Business Link is proud to present this Women in Business event in honor of International Women’s Day. This half-day conference will support women entrepreneurs and small business owners in finding passion in entrepreneurship.  

This event will feature an incredible keynote speech from Jessica Janzen. Jessica is an author, joy bringer, and the Executive Director of the Love for Lewiston Foundation. The passing of her son, Lewiston, encouraged her to start living and get on with what she had always dreamed of. This led to the release of her book (Bring the Joy) and raising over $1 Million dollars for the Foundation that she started in honor of her son. Jessica helps leaders move forward and build a stronger tomorrow by overcoming adversity and building resiliency.  

Attendees will also hear presentations from two accomplished women in business: Marcela Mandeville the CEO of Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enabling women to build successful businesses, and Barbara McKenzie, CEO of Business Link. Following presentations, there will be interactive, round table discussions led by ATB Financial, Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, and Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub. Attendees can ask our guest experts any questions they have and will discuss challenges and opportunities that women in business face.
