Is there a cost to partake in the sessions?
There is no financial cost. However, participants are expected to commit a significant amount of time to complete their emergency preparedness plan and any additional work given to them by their strategist.
Who is this program for?
Small business owners and entrepreneurs who have run a small business in Alberta for at least the past year. Their businesses have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and they are currently seeking solutions and figuring out how to position their businesses for optimal recovery.

No, the program is designed to help entrepreneurs be resilient and prepared for any future business interruptions.
How many hours would I need to commit to be a part of this program?
There will be a total of 3 hours of session time. All participants must commit to attending these sessions and completing the work assigned to be part of the program.

The sessions will be held virtually so that wherever you are in the province, you can get access to this vital support.

Applicants will need to meet the eligibility criteria for the program. We will review applications and select businesses that will benefit most from having an emergency plan in place. All applicants will be contacted by a Business Link Strategist to further assist in their business development.
