The COVID-19 pandemic, major floods, and wildfires have made businesses aware they need to plan and be prepared for unexpected times and emergencies. The Emergency Preparedness Program will give Alberta entrepreneurs the tools and knowledge they need to mitigate the effects of any future business interruptions.
Disasters can strike a business at any time. They can be acute, like a fire, or chronic, like the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that the effects of any disaster on your business are mitigated it is very helpful to have a continuity plan. Business Link is launching a program and template that will help you create such a plan for your business. Attend this session to hear about how impactful disasters can be, and to hear about how our program and tools can help you be prepared.
