David Bayda
Manager, Client Services
David leads a team of Business Strategists who provide one-on-one support to entrepreneurs across Alberta, where he helps aspiring and existing business owners navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business. Much of his work focuses on supporting his team, improving how services are delivered, and ensuring entrepreneurs receive practical, thoughtful guidance as they explore and build their ventures.
A serial entrepreneur himself, David enjoys helping people think through new ideas and spot opportunities. He has launched and operated several ventures, including a handyman/furniture assembly business, as well as an online apparel product he invented and brought to market. His areas of interest include startup planning, marketing strategy, Business Model Canvas development, trend research, and idea development.
David holds a Bachelor of Design degree (with Distinction), specializing in Business and Marketing. He has a strong interest in innovation, product design, intellectual property, and creative problem-solving.
Outside of Business Link, David has helped organize several community initiatives in Edmonton, including YEG Kite Day, PrideBench, and the Edmonton Inventor Meetup, and enjoys connecting people with ideas, resources, and each other to spark creativity and collaboration.
