With continued concerns around the spread of COVID-19 and the global situation rapidly evolving, we have made the difficult decision to postpone any in-person events and Ask an Expert sessions in our Edmonton office until further notice.
The situation around COVID-19 has significantly changed in recent days in light of the World Health Organization announcement that the outbreak is now deemed a pandemic. While COVID-19 is a mild disease for most people, it can make some very ill. Around 1 in every 5 people who catch COVID-19 needs hospital treatment.
While health authorities have relayed that the risk in Alberta is low at this time, we have decided to take precautions to safeguard the health and safety of our employees and the public; social distancing can be an effective tool in preventing the spread of the virus.
During this time, we are dedicated to continuing to support entrepreneurs in Alberta and will proceed with scheduling blogs, conducting webinars and online programming, remote Ask an Expert Sessions, and providing one-on-one advice and support via email, phone, or Live Chat.
