Shannon Hucker

Shannon is a proud Texan-turned-Calgarian with over a decade of experience advancing Canada’s international priorities, both at home and abroad. Her work has spanned international business strategy, economic development, and consular affairs, with a recent focus on supporting Alberta’s aerospace and defense companies in expanding to global markets. Passionate about small business and economic resilience, Shannon believes in the power of entrepreneurship to drive vibrant communities across the province and is excited to share her expertise to help local entrepreneurs grow and thrive. 

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of Calgary.  Outside of her professional life, Shannon is an Ironman triathlete with a deep appreciation for the arts, driven by a passion for endurance, creativity, and continuous growth.
