Cid has spent more than 20 years wrangling words, building brands, and steering organizations through the occasional crisis moment across nonprofit, post-secondary, government, and advertising. She’s been a journalist, a strategist, and a leader, which means she can take complicated jargon and turn it into something even your grandma or teen would actually read. She’s led rebrands, guided campaigns that made noise in all the right ways, and coached teams without ever resorting to interpretive dance… though the day may come.
At Business Link, Cid uses her marketing and communications skills to amplify the organization’s mission and showcase the impact of its programs. She loves crafting marketing strategies that highlight the work Business Link does to strengthen Alberta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
When she’s not plotting her next marketing move, Cid paints, writes, and explores creative outlets. She also spends time with family, friends, and her two Keeshonden dogs (rolling tumbleweeds of fluff who shed nonstop, demand cuddles on their schedule, and more or less run her life using the power of cuteness).
