Felice Café Brews Up a Fresh Experience with Homegrown Ingredients
Felice Café is in the heart of Edmonton’s Boyle Street and offers locally sourced food, locally roasted coffee roasted from the downtown market, and an in-house retail market featuring products from 12 local vendors. In addition, the café also hosts artists and entrepreneurs for events and evenings featuring local music, art, and fashion.
Michelle and Tim Brouwer own Felice Café, opening it in April 2022. Michelle is the visionary behind the concept. During the pandemic, she reflected on her love for supporting local, good food and coffee – and from there, the idea for Felice Café was born. Driven by her passion, she embarked on a journey to build this community-centred coffee shop in the heart of Edmonton.
While they were growing their business, Michelle and Tim had the opportunity to learn about Business Link and apply for the Canada Digital Adoption Program‘s Grow Your Business Online Grant, and used the micro-grant to boost their growth and kickstart the launch of their mobile ordering platform.

After seeing success through the program, Michelle and Tim explored additional resources provided by Business Link by learning about market research opportunities and financing advice provided by the group. They have taken full advantage and are realizing their dream of supporting local.
Michelle and Tim’s business allows them to follow their passions and give back to their community. Through the Felice Entrepreneur program they’re now paying it forward to other small businesses by developing a community that provides advice, support, and opportunities to grow.
